Parking at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota

Many Mayo Clinic visitors find that they don't need parking while in Rochester. Free hotel shuttles, taxis, ride-share services like Uber and Lyft, and walking get most visitors where they need to go.

If you do plan to drive to your appointments, you'll find several options for parking. Here's what you need to know.

Downtown Campus parking

Rochester has metered parking on many downtown streets. However, parking here is limited to 30-minute, 90-minute or three-hour increments and fills quickly. You may be more comfortable parking in one of Mayo's downtown parking lots and ramps:

1. Damon Ramp

   Located across the street from the Gonda Building at

   15 3rd Ave. SW

2. Graham Ramp

   Located across the street from the Charlton Building at

   121 3rd Ave. NW
   Rochester, MN

3. Baldwin Ramp

   Located underneath the Baldwin Building at

   221 4th Ave. SW
   Rochester, MN

Each of Mayo's downtown campus ramps are connected by pedestrian subways to other Mayo Clinic buildings — so you won't have to go outside if you don't want to. And all Mayo Clinic ramps have handicapped-accessible parking spots.

Saint Marys Campus parking

Two Mayo Clinic ramps are available at the Saint Marys campus:

1. Generose Ramp

   Located just east of the Generose Building at

2. Mary Brigh Ramp

   This underground ramp is accessed just west of the main entrance to Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus, at

Parking rates

All Mayo Clinic ramps charge $2 an hour for the first hour and $1 for each additional hour, with a maximum of $12 a day.

You may pay each day, or purchase multiple-day, discounted parking passes. Passes are available at any Mayo Clinic ramp and at valet parking desks.

• 10 days: $40
• 25 days: $75

Valet parking

If you prefer to have Mayo Clinic park your car, valet parking is available at the downtown campus:

• Gonda Building from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Payment by credit card is required.
• Charlton Building (west entrance): 5:15 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday including holidays. Payment by credit card is required.
• Mary Brigh Building (west entrance): 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday. Payment by credit card is required.

There is a $8 charge for valet service in addition to the standard parking rates.
